10. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi

Both Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have been vegan since 2008. The main reason for these decisions was of ethnical nature, and they have always talked about it openly.

DeGeneres even said, “I personally chose to go vegan because I educated myself on factory farming and cruelty to animals, and I suddenly realized that what was on my plate were living things, with feelings. And I just couldn’t disconnect myself from it any longer.”

9. Mike Tyson

More and more professional athletes are choosing to remove meat from their diet and dairy products. Many decide to go vegan for medical reasons, and Mike Tyson is one of them. Consequently, Mike is declared a vegan since 2010.

This is what he had to say about his new diet, “I just felt like changing my life, doing something different. And so I became a vegan.” Tyson also said that a vegan diet gave him another opportunity to live a more full and healthier life.

She said numerous times that she believes in an entirely plant-based diet as a concept. Moreover, she believes that a whole food diet can expand your diet length and make everyone happier.

Former Vice President and environmentalist Al Gore started experimenting on how to reduce animal consumption. That single take was enough for him to choose a vegan lifestyle for the rest of his life.

He said that “It’s correct that the growing meat intensity of diets around the world is one of the issues connected to this global crisis — not only because of the CO2 involved but also because of the water consumed in the process. You could add in the health consequences, as well.”

Olivia was only 12 when she decided to stop eating meat. At the time, she declared herself as vegetarian, only to make a switch from a vegetarian diet to vegan diet years later.

This decision was based on ethical and health reasons. Wilde explained that being vegas isn’t always easy, especially in terms of access, but it is her way of life, and it makes her happy, feel good, and look better physically.

Christina is a long-time vegetarian. She decided to go vegetarian when she was only 15 years old. She also fights against fur. So, she is very outspoken about her stance against fur.
