Otherwise, he wouldn’t be around still walking, right? Jon Snow keeps running the show. And Harington, who plays Jon Snow, is well aware of it. Moreover, Kit knows how to charge it. Therefore, Kit Harington takes home $500,000 after each episode.

Kit Harington earned far less in the first few seasons. Of course, that was before the show become such a major hit. In fact, Kit’s payroll had a large payroll shift in 2014. Ever since he’s taking $500,000 home after each episode. Equally, his net worth is around $12 million.
Khaleesi’s on-screen lover joined Clarke in Dolce & Gabbana campaign. Also, he was the face of Jimmy Choo’s menswear and Nissan Infiniti. It seems that Jon knows something after all, right?

3. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

Salary: $500,000 per episode

‘The things I do for love.’ Jaime’s one-time line that kicked-off a series of unfortunate events. This sentence was responsible for seeing Jaime almost every single episode so far. In addition, this remarkable line led to Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Cersei’s lover and brother, taking home $500,000 after each episode. Nikolaj has been in the acting industry for years, but the role of Jamie really put him in the spotlight.

In reality, Nikolaj is a multimillionaire thanks to the show. His current net worth is $16 million thanks to the GOT and movies like ‘Black Hawk Down’. He was a part of major HBO’s salary negotiations and there are rumors that his salary went from $500,000 to $710,000 per episode. In reality, when his Danish neighbor read about this alleged salary increase, he suggested for Nikolaj to pay for their new fence. Nikolaj’s answer was short: “Don’t believe everything you read, you idiot.” We are sure that he will pay his debts, but only if they are truly his, in the manner of a true Lannister. Salary: $500,000 per episode

Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister, is one of the highest paid stars of the show. He is one of the few included in the $500,000-per-episode deal for the final two seasons. Not only that is he appreciated for his regular GOT cheques, but he is also – so far, the only cast member to have won an Emmy. Actually, multiply that Emmy times three. Dinklage was known before he stepped his foot into George’s world of dragons and throne plots.

Peter Dinklage had the same negotiation process with HBO, just like Kit and Lena, meaning that he earned $12.5 million just from his great interpretation of Tyrion. In addition, his current net worth is around $15 million. In reality, Dinklage’s impressive net worth comes from GOT, and his roles in movies like Avengers: Infinity War, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and The Angry Birds Movie, Elf, and The Chronicles of Narnia.

5. Lena Heady

Salary: $500,000 per episode

Cersei Lannister is the most hated monarch in the show. Lena Hardy does an amazing job in portraying current queen. Above all, she is well aware of how amazing job she does. Therefore, she negotiated her salary from $300k per episode to jump to $500k per episode, in order to be equal to her male co-stars. Acting like a true queen off-screen as well. And, let’s be real, the woman simply deserves it, especially after destroying the High Sparrow.

Lena is considered to be a core cast member. Although she is currently earning as much as Kit does, her net worth is slightly smaller. She had a kind of financial struggle back in 2013. During that year she went through a long and messy divorce. Moreover, she claimed that that point of her life resulted in having ‘less than $5’ in her bank account.

6. Liam Cunningham

Salary: $300,000 per episode

The great thing about GOT is that you can choose your favorite character from minor characters as well! There are so many minor characters in this show. And among them, the most popular one is probably Davos Seaworth. The Onion King was introduced as an advisor to Stannis Baratheon. After the death of Stannis, Davos went to support Jon Snow as Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch at first and then as the King in the North. Therefore, he is present for a number of episodes already.

Davos follows Jon everywhere. He is seen having his back in the battle and supporting his decision of joining Dany. Liam Cunningham portrays Davos perfectly and for that role, he is richer for $300,000 per episode. Every episode times $300,000… Not so minor character after all.

7. Sophie Turner

Salary: $100,000-$200,000 per episode

Sansa Stark wanted to find her Prince Charming her whole life. However, life a.k.a George R. R. Martin had different plans for her. Should we say in how many different ways Joffrey Baratheon was opposite of Prince Charming? We probably all remember those horrifying moments. However, for impeccable performance in each episode and for surviving Joffrey and much more, Sophie Turner takes home between $100,000-$200,000 per episode. Sophie Turner plays a ‘Tier B’ character and that’s the main reason why her salary is not higher. Regardless, we believe that GOT wouldn’t be a ‘Tier A’ show without Sansa. Moreover, without Sansa, Sophie Turner’s worth wouldn’t be around $6 million. Just sayin’!

In fact, we don’t know if Sophie’s salary per episode in the final season will be higher. In the meantime, we know for sure that her overall net worth will grow thanks to her involvement in X-Men: Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix. Sophie will play a lead role in Dark Phoenix. She is also the face of Wella hair care.

8. Maisie Williams

Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per episode

Portraying Arya is demanding on so many different levels. She is strong, independent and on a path of revenge. Maisie Williams, who plays Arya, started playing this character when she was only thirteen. Simply said, Maisie and Arya grew up together. Also, because of this demanding role, you would expect Maisie to have one of the biggest salaries in the show. However, that’s not the case. She earned between $150,000 – $200,000 per episode. Latest rumors are that she is paid $210,000 per episode.

The main reasons for Maisie not having a higher salary are that she joined the show when she was only thirteen years old. At the time, the other characters were more present and interesting. The second reason is that she is categorized as ‘Tier B’ cast. Overall, her net worth is estimated to be around $6 million. On the other hand, her net worth is expected to grow once ‘The New Mutants’ is out.

9. Natalie Dormer

Salary: $100,000 – $200,000 per episode

No one fought Joffrey with such a smile like Margaery Tyrell. Natalie Dormer, who plays Margaery Tyrell entered the world of Westeros in the season two of Game of Thrones. The original plan included Natalie leaving the show extremely fast, as she was a minor character. However, this lovely character stayed until season six. In fact, during that period, she earned between $100,000 – $200,000 per episode. Not too shabby for a minor character.

Dormer made similar money like her co-star Sophie Turner. In spite of original plans, Natalie made her way up to great season six, thanks to her strong acting skills. Even though producers loved her because of the impeccable acting skills she had to be killed off. Last scene of Margaery was just right before the big explosion in the ending of season six.

10. Aidan Gillen

Salary: $100,000 – $200,000 per episode

Littlefinger, or Petyr Baelish, was one of those characters that you just loved to hate. Not like Joffrey Baratheon hate, but still, hate. No wonder that he got so many followers and fans around the globe after the first season of the show. Thanks to that popularity Aidan Gillen, who plays Littlefinger, got himself a swell sum of $100,000 – $200,000 per episode. It seems that all that work of turning characters against each other paid off.

Aidan Gillen received his last GOT cheque in season seven. According to fans, his character got what he deserved. After numerous plots, killings, and a number of various conspiracy moves, Littlefinger left this world on his knees, begging for his life. Littlefinger wasn’t a match for Stark sisters. It takes a true talent for the world to hate you and Aidan did it easily. He basically killed it. In the manner of his character.

11. Gwendoline Christie

Salary: $100,000 – $200,000 per episode

Brienne of Tarth is one of the oldest characters that are still alive. She was seen for the first time in season two. After just two seasons she became one of the main cast members and Gwendoline has been with us, taking care of the Starks, ever since. Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne of Tarth claims that she loves being called ‘big women’ and she has no clue if she will have a Prince Charming by the end of the show or not. If she survives, of course.

Sadly, we didn’t get to see Gwendoline being a ‘Tier A’ member of the cast, even with her role now being significant. Rumors are that until recently Gwendoline received less than $100,000 per episode. On the other hand, the recent news are saying that everyone in the show had a pay rise before season 8 kicked off. In addition to that, Gwendoline should receive between $100,000 and $200,000 per episode.

12. Conleth Hill

Salary: $100,000 to $200,000 per episode

Conleth Hill portrays Lord Varys, that we know from season one. Lord Varys is considered to be one of the minor characters. However, as the plot develops he became one of the most important GOT characters. Simply said, it didn’t take long for his storyline to take off and promote Hill. That popularity brought Hill between $100,000 to $200,000 per episode.

Varys is known for being always around and helping others. He is one of those characters that are involved in everything and with everyone. For each showing as The Hound, McCann is richer for between $100,000 to $200,000 per episode.

We all believed that this skilled fighter was gone for good at the end of season four. Luckily, producers invited The Hound back for season six. Ever since he has been earning the sum of between $100,000 to $200,000 per episode. In the season finale, we got to see him drinking with Arya while guarding the Winterfell walls.

14. Iain Glen

Salary: $100,000 to $200,000 per episode

Do you care for Jorah as much as Dany does? Regardless of your personal preferences when it comes to this character, one thing is for sure – it’s great having him around! Iain Glen, who plays Jorah, did an amazing job of evolving his character. Furthermore, for his great performance, Glen is rewarded between $100,000 to $200,000 per episode.

Jonah went a long way from being a spy to a person that’s so affectionate and protective of Daenerys. Altogether, his unfortunate feelings toward Dany and his attempts to fight off ‘greyscale’ a terrible illness, made Iain Glen one of the TV show favorites.

15. Nathalie Emmanuel

Salary: $100,000 per episode

Season three brought a new character – Missandei. In a short period of time, Missandei became mega-popular among the GOT fans globally. What made her extremely interesting was the fact that she got romantically involved with Grey Worm. She is also one of Dany’s most trustworthy friends. Nathalie Emmanuel plays Missandei from the first appearance and for that, she’s handsomely rewarded.

One of Missandei’s biggest skills is her ability to speak many languages. Therefore, she is immensely important to Dany. Ever since Missandei become a free person, she stayed with Dany. Greyjoy is a character that serves George R. R. Martin to tell other characters’ stories. Therefore, he is equally important both in the books series as well as the tv series. At one point he is even tortured for seasons until he comes back in the form of a savior. Alfie Allen did his best to push Theon’s character from ‘Tier C’, but it simply wasn’t possible. Certainly, that’s the main reason why he is paid only $10,000 per episode.

17. Isaac Hempstead Wright

Salary: $10,000 per episode

Who would expect superpowers in any character in this show? But, as anything is possible in this tv show no wonder that we have some magic and superpowers here and there. Therefore, he is paid for his performance $10,000 per episode.

At first, we believed that Bran’s role will end in season one. However, Bran Stark was the first from Stark family to learn about the romance between Cersei and Jamie. Therefore, as a result of this discovery, he was pushed out of the window. Although it looked like he was about to die, he survived. And he is one of the few characters from season one that is still breathing. His supernatural powers make him one of the most important figures of the show, but there are other characters that are more prominent. That’s why he is paid just $10,000 for his performance.

18. John Bradley

Salary: $10,000 per episode

Samwell Tarly is not one of those run-to-the-battle types. But, he is one of those characters that would go a distance to make a point. Don’t we love him because of that unique trait? Samwell is forced to join the Night’s Watch because of his father’s attitude and threats toward him. He proved that he will help enormously the Seven Kingdoms to win the war. His intelligence is his best weapon.

John Bradley, who plays Samwell, gets to go home after every episode richer $10,000 per episode.
