1. Kohl’s – 15% off every Wednesday for +60
Whether you’re looking for some clothing, appliances, electronics for the whole, or maybe some toys or home décor, Kohl’s is the right place for you. You can also enjoy this retail store’s free shipping and easy returns.
As if their great prices weren’t enough, at Kohl’s they offer a special 15% discount for senior citizens aged 60 or higher. Remember that the discount is valid only on Wednesdays!
2. Ben & Jerry’s Senior Discounts – 10% off for 60+
Ben & Jerry’s is one of the best brands when it comes to ice cream, and we all know it. They opened their first ice cream shop in Burlington, Vermont in 1978 and they have spread throughout the United States and across the world ever since.
Guess what, if you’re more than 60 years old, you can get 10% off of your favorite ice cream! The eligibility for the discount varies from location to location, so just check before asking for your discounted price!
3. El Pollo Loco – 10% off for 60+ – 15% off for Military
El Pollo Loco is an amazing spot to eat their authentic, flame-grilled-citrus-marinated-chicken. They have a long history and have been extremely popular in California, Texas, Louisiana, Arizona, Utah, and Nevada.
Apart from providing over 10,000 meals to local communities that aid children’s causes and underprivileged families, El Pollo Loco also provides discounts for seniors and military. If you’re a veteran or military member you can get a discount of 15%, while senior citizens older than 60-years can ask for 10% off their bill. Ask the cashier if you apply for the discount before paying.
4. Denny’s – 15% off for AARP members
Denny’s was first called “Danny’s Donuts” and their mission was to make the best donuts, serve the best cup of coffee, give the best service while staying open 24 hours a day. Today, they are only called Denny’s and are a franchising restaurant where you can have just anything you can imagine for breakfast.
At many Denny’s locations, senior citizens will have 15% off their bill if they are AARP members. There’s also a 55+ menu that comes with slightly smaller portions and cheaper prices. However, being a franchising restaurant, these discount policies don’t apply to all of its locations.
5. Captain D’s – Meal + Drink for $4.99
If you’re a big fan of seafood, you might have gone to Captain D’s. It is a fairly good alternative to fancy seafood restaurants that can turn out to be quite expensive. So, not only you won’t break the bank at Captain D’s, but they also offer some great offers!
For instance, as a senior citizen, you can get one of 8 meals and a drink for $4.99 or less. You should only check if your local D’s is participating or not.
6. United Airlines – Various Discounts for 65+
Airplane tickets can often be discounted for senior citizens. United Airlines also follows this trend and offers senior fares to selected travel destinations for customers that are 65 years old and older.

Hyatt Hotels is a famous franchise of luxury hotels and resorts. Their hotels are found around the whole world. Wherever you wish to go, you will surely find a Hyatt hotel.

14. Amtrak – 15% off for 62+
Here’s some news for all of you that love traveling by train! Amtrak offers senior discounts of 15% to all travelers older than 62 on the lowest available rail fare.
But, when traveling to Canada, be aware that VIA Rail Canada offers a 10% Senior discount only for travelers older than 60 years of age. However, there are some limitations to the senior discount program: for instance, you can’t use other discount offers combined, or your discount isn’t valid on saver fares. 16. Bubba Gump Shrimp – 10% off for AARP Members, 10% military discount
The first Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant opened in Monterey, California in 1996. Today, they have countless restaurants not only in the USA but internationally too.
Want to have some shrimps at lower prices? Call your local Bubba Gump Shrimp Restaurant and ask for their senior discount policy. Most of their restaurants offer a 10% discount to all military members and to AARP members.
17. Applebee’s – 10-15% off for (60+)
Applebee’s is a restaurant that offers classic bar-and-grill menu item. They count more than 3,700 restaurants in 19 countries and a 99%-franchised system. The company always supports national heroes, and on each Veterans Day veterans and duty service men and women are welcomed to the Applebee’s restaurants for a free meal.
In fact, since 2008, their franchises have served an outstanding 8.3 million free meals on Veterans days only. However, seniors older than 60 years of age can have from 10 to 15 percent of discount in most Applebee’s restaurants.
18. Gristedes Supermarket: 10% off every Tuesday (65+)
Most recognized New York City’s chain of small supermarkets, called Gristedes, has been the synonym of a good grocery store since 1891 around Manhattan. Since then, the Gristedes has been spreading and by the year 1948, the chain had 141 stores in Manhattan, the Bronx, Westchester, and Connecticut.
If you’re a NewYorker older than 65 years of age and want to save some money on groceries, then plan your grocery shopping on Tuesday and head to Gristedes. You will get 10% off each Tuesday of your entire bill.
19. New Seasons – 10% off every Wednesday most items (65+), 10% off every Tuesday for military
Let’s continue with groceries! New Seasons Market is a chain of grocery stores mostly located in Oregon, Washington, Seattle, and Northern California. If you’re seeking some good deals, look up for New Seasons!
You can buy some organic and locally produced products here, and you can get 10% off. If you’re older than 65 years of age, go there every Wednesday in order to receive your discount, and if you’re a military army member shop on Tuesdays! But what about some clothing? 20. Banana Republic – 10% off for 50+
Finally, another retail store where you can find great clothing and accessories. Originally, this brand was named “Banana Republic Travel & Safari Clothing Company” and had a mostly safari theme. However, when Gap purchased the company in 1983, it gained the new name and a more upscale image.
If you’re older than 50 years of age, check with your local Banana Republic store if you’re eligible for a senior discount. Most Banana Republic stores will have it.
21. iParty – 10% off
iParty is a chain of retail stores specialized in party-related merchandise, seasonal items as Halloween costumes, Easter baskets, and Christmas garland.
Having most stores in New England and the Tampa Bay Area of Florida, you’d probably have to be living in these areas in order to get your discount. If you have a iParty store near you, you can ask for a 10% discount every day of the week.
22. Fandango – up to 30% off for 65+
Let’s talk about some entertainment! Fandango offers movie tickets through its website and mobile app. Apart from offering a lot of special coupons and freebies, the ticketing company also has a great senior discount program.
Seniors older than 65 will be able to get a 30% discount for all indicated movies and theaters. Some theaters may have different age brackets, so it can occur that not all of them would offer a senior discount. But wait, you haven’t seen the best of the discounts yet!
23. PizzaHut – 50% off on weekdays for 55+
Pizza Hut is known to be a chain of Italian-American cuisine restaurants. The company serves pizza, pasta as well as great side dishes and desserts.
Pizza Hut seems to have a great way to motivate senior citizens into visiting their restaurants! Every weekday from 1.30 PM to 5 PM, customers older than 55 get a 50% discount on their meals! This is what we call a great deal!
24. Walgreens – 20% off once a month for 65+ and AARP members
The Walgreen is a pharmacy chain that operates in all 50 states of America along with Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia and the U.S Virgin Islands. They run more than 8,000 stores across the country.
If you’re at least 55-years-old or a member of AARP, you can get 20% off on selected dates with a “Balance Rewards” card. This offer is valid until May 2nd, 2019.
25. Greyhound – 5% off for +62, 10% off for military
If you’re using the bus for traveling or visiting your relatives, you surely used Greyhound Lines so far. They serve over 3,800 destinations in the U.S. and Canada with their intercity buses.
Greyhound passengers of 62 years or older can have a discount of 5% on passenger fares. Just have your I.D. near you in order to prove your age, and you’ll pay less for your bus ticket. Military service members can get 10% off on full price tickets.
