Mikaila Ulmer – Age 13 – Lemonade Line In Whole Foods
Mikaila Ulmer’s story dates back to when she was only four years old. Everything started when she made a lemonade stand in Texas and appeared on the TV Show “Shark Tank”. In the tv show, she received a $60,000 investment from Daymont John, after which another 10 NFL players invested more than $800,000 in her company.
Today she is the co-CEO of her company “Me & the Bees Lemonade” along with her parents. Ulmer’s company was picked up by Whole Foods for an astonishing $11 million deal.
Zandra Cunningham – Age 18 – Natural Beauty Products In Target
Zandra started her own business by making her own lip balm in her kitchen when she was just nine years old. She started selling her lip balms and whipped shea butters at local farmers markets.
Fast forward to 2019, her all-natural skincare line, Zandra’s beauty is worth nearly $500,000 and has over 40 products. She landed some of her products at Target. At Target, you can now find her hand and body lotion, exfoliating sugar scrub, and lip and body balm.
Noa Mintz – Age 17 – Matchmaking Childcare Service in NYC
When she was just 12 years old, Noa Mintz launched a matchmaking childcare service which pairs families with caretakers. Her NYC-based service is called Nannies by Noa and it was named one of the Fortune’s “18 Under 18 Innovators Who Are Changing the World”.
Abby Kircher – Age 19 – Line Of Nut Butters
Abby Kircher was 15 years old when she wanted to eat healthier. She realized that many peanut butter brands she loved were loaded with sugar and bad oils. That’s when she decided to make her own butter that was completely healthy and had only natural sweeteners and that’s how Abby’s Better Nut Butter was born.
She started selling at farmer’s markets and made $4,000 in the mere beginning. Now, her butters are sold in grocery stores and had reached $80,000 in sales in 2017 according to Forbes. Abby’s Better Nut Butter offers date pecan, coconut cashew, coffee almond, strawberry cashew, and honey almond nuts, and she has recently widened her offer to merchandise and snack bars.
Moziah Bridges – Age 17 – Mo’s Bows
Moziah Bridges launched his bow tie brand when he was nine, after appearing on “Shark Tank”. Thanks to the TV show, he received Daymond John’s mentorship for free and has started selling bow ties, neckties, pocket squares and other men apparel.
He’s now the President and Creative Director of Mo’s Bows, and was named on TIME’s list of most influential teens. In 2017, he signed a seven-figure deal with NBA, and doesn’t have any plans to stop there!
Ben Pasternak – Age 19 – Smartphone Apps
This smart teen has built gaming apps such as Impossible Rush and Impossible Deal, as well as many others smartphone apps that brought him a millionaire status.
He sold his Impossible Deal app for $85,000, and has launched a peer-to-peer app named Flogg that got nearly $1 million in funding from Binary Capital and Greycroft Partner’s.
Recently, he sold his video chat app Monkey to rival app HOLLA so he could dedicate his focus to new projects.
Annie and Kate Madden – Ages 18 (Kate) and 16 (Annie) – FenuHealth
When they were only 14 and 12, sisters Annie and Kate Madden founded FenuHealth, a company that produces supplements that prevent stomach ulcers in horses.
Their project won first at BT Young Scientist, a science and tech exhibition, after which they got a big break and entered the biggest equestrian trade fair, Equitana. Just a few months later, they brand was launched.
The company saw an 52% growth in 2018 only and today, FenuHealth is known to be used by five royal families.
